In 2013, Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council needed a new responsive (and rather large) website. We chose WordPress because it’s such a great content management system, allowing several employees to manage assigned pages. They wanted it bright and cheerful, easily navigable by visitors, and easily worked with by one of their graphic designers. It needed a large and complicated menu in two locations on the site, an event calendar, and more. We accomplished everything they were looking for.
The Council oversees several troops over a somewhat vast geographic area in Southern California. They constantly have events going on, including Girl Scout Cookie Season and their Fall Product Sale. The site had to meet the needs of everyone going to it. The clients were just wonderful to work with, and the site was a blast to create.
UPDATED: In 2017, the national Girl Scout organization brought all the websites in-house, and this pretty site went away. Broke my heart, but my client contacts and I are still friends.
