Built in 2009, this website and letterhead project for Patent Venture Group still looks professional and slick, although responsive design wasn’t so much of a thing back then, so it’s not responsive.
An intellectual property attorney, he didn’t have a lot of content on his site. I wanted the site, pvglaw.com, to look rich and professional. The site is still live, but is not in WordPress, and is not responsive. I haven’t worked on it since around 2010.
I suggested a design that would stand out in the business card holder at the receptionist’s desk. He told me to go for it, and was very pleased with the results. One of my favorite projects to design. I created the logo design in some fun software — I’m not even sure it’s still available. This was 2009, after all. I could easily do it in Photoshop, too.
